An all-purpose salve for everyday use.

Ingredients:

*organic sunflower oil,  calendula flowers, beeswax, tea treee ssential oil.

Calendula has long been used to soothe and mend cuts, burns, bites, sprains, bruises, rashes, sunburns, and abrasions due to its antibiotic and anti-inflammatory actions.

Calendula also contains salicylic acid, making it a pain killer, helping relieve the pain associated with these types of wounds and skin irritations, including nettle stings. In addition, Calendula is excellent for soothing itching, making it useful for bites of any sort. It also is used on old scars and for diaper rash.

Calendula taken as a tea or in tincture form is helpful for the digestive tract's inflammatory conditions such as ulcers, esophageal irritation from gastric reflux, and inflammatory bowel disease. In addition, its soothing property naturally helps irritated tissue. As an old-time herbalist, Culpeper suggests, "the juice of marigold(calendula) with any hot swelling bathed with it, instantly give ease, and assuages it."
